My recent trip to Morrocco was a delight. It was my first trip working as an assistant expedition leader. During the build up I had been so focused on getting ready for the job, I hadn’t put much thought into the country itself. Morrocco surprised me though. I really liked it’s laid back vibe…and cheap crepes! Over 2 weeks I visited the bustling markets of Marrakesh; hiked across the Atlas mountains; and spent some time relaxing in the hippy town Essaouira.
